About the Therapist

Holly is a licensed clinical social worker and graduated from Utah State University in 2018.  She worked as a court-ordered therapist for youth in state’s custody while running a household as a single mom to her three boys.  In 2019 she became a clinician at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital, facilitating adult therapy groups in the intensive outpatient unit, teaching Dialectical Behavioral Therapy-based life skills. That same year, Holly accepted a job with Addo Recovery as a trauma therapist working with individuals and couples struggling with the negative effects of sex addiction and betrayal trauma.  In 2020 she married her husband Gary and shortly after sent her oldest son on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Holly is trained and certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and has completed hundreds of successful ART sessions since October 2019.  Beginning November 2022 she began her own private practice, Accelerated Trauma Solutions. She is very passionate about what she does and prides herself in being a solution-focused therapist, digging below the "visible problems" and finding the underlying causes for typical symptoms such as shame, depression, addiction, negative core beliefs, and relationship issues.

"My experience with ART"

"I believe in the life-changing effects of therapy and I love what I do.  Shortly after I began practicing, it didn't take long to recognize that the majority of my clients' suffering presented in symptoms caused by trauma. Using evidence based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address specific traumas was effective, however it proved to be inefficient because of the time it required.  I was insistent on learning a quicker, more efficient way to address these deep rooted traumas.  I looked into Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in the process discovered Accelerated Resolution Therapy, or ART.  Laney Rosenzweig, the founder of ART, developed a faster, more efficient way of processing trauma and healing other mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, and even physical pain.  I was trained as an ART clinician and during the training was able to process my own trauma that I had been holding on to for over 4 years.  I was able to change the stuck images caused by a painful separation and divorce and heal from the suffering it continued to cause me.  Since then I am still comforted by the positive images that I created that day.  The positive effects of ART treatment are long lasting and even though it may seem like it is too good to be true, it really works!  As an ART therapist I have seen countless clients walk into my office in visible psychological pain and have watched them leave with clarity and peace."
